Adding RV approved non toxic antifreeze to you water system is an option and recommended for extreme cold climates or wherever temperatures fall below freezing.
If a Rv biodegradable antifreeze is used in your drinking water system be sure to flush the system thoroughly in the spring to ensure your water is free and clear of contamination for your summers enjoyment. Make sure all holding tanks both grey water and black water are drained completely and also treated from freezing. Ensure the discharge lines from the tanks are empty of water and fluids and winterized properly. Freezing is a big issue and can cause thousands in losses if your coach or boat if not properly winterized. If in doubt contact your local dealer to have them winterize your vehicle.
