Winco 300484-5 Engine Oil Heater for PSS8 Air-Cooled Engines offers an engine heater with thermostat that field installs into the capped port of oil pan. Heats the oil during cold weather conditions keeping the engine ready to start and operate at full capacity even in the most severe cold weather. Select models PSS8B4W, PSS12H4W or PSS20B4W. Ships as an accessory at order or for add on to existing field equipment.

Description

Winco 300484-5 Engine Oil Heater for PSS8 Air-Cooled Engines only. These air-cooled generators use high quality engines that are capable of starting in cold temperatures. To ensure quick starting in the coldest environments, WINCO offers a engine heater kit that is field installed to keep your engine block warm. The engine heater with thermostat kit includes a thermostat that engages the heater at 50 degrees F (internal cabinet temperature) and shuts off at 60 degrees F. The heating probe is produced by Kim Hot Start and is inserted into the engine oil pan replacing the second drain plug. The engine heater with thermostat kit is powered from the factory installed duplex receptacle. To compensate for the battery heater an additional NEMA 5-15 receptacle is included in the kit.
