Description
The RONK 12 KVA 2RLC Roto-Load Center is designed for applications with three-phase (3Ø) electronic equipment or systems with line-to-neutral circuits that cannot be modified. Most 3Ø electronic devices have specific +/- voltage tolerances that must be maintained under all operating conditions. Applications with hard-starting motors or wide load swings may require a larger converter. Best results are achieved between 20% and 80% of converter capacity. Loads that require better tolerances may require the use of a power conditioner as well.
RONK 12 KVA 2RLC Specifications:
- Model: 12 KVA 2RLC
- Weight: 450
- 1Ø FLA: 50
- Starting AMP: 275

- Voltage-sensitive machinery
ROTO-LOAD Connection:
The Ronk ROTO-CON rotary converter consists of a rotary transformer and one or more capacitor panels. For UL Listed units, the rotary transformer and capacitor panels must be used together to maintain their listing
All wiring should be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable electrical codes. ROTO-CON rotary transformers can operate from either 240 or 480 volt power but must be operated at the voltage rating of the capacitor panel(s). The capacitors in the #1 panel are connected across the “A” and “B” phases. The incoming single-phase lines become the “B” and “C” phases of the three-phase output (“A” phase is the manufactured phase). Use the “B” and “C” phases for any controls and single-phase loads if they are being powered from the converter. Do not connect control circuits, control transformers, or other single-phase loads to the “A” phase. Doing so may damage their components and/or result in improper operation. Refer to the load equipment information for any single-phase connections.
